8a Kilkenneth is a modernised, traditional blackroof house in peaceful Kilkenneth on the west side of Tiree, and is only a few minutes' walk away from the wonderful Maze beach. The cottage has recently been extended and has undergone a complete internal renovation.

Tiree, Hawaii of the North

Tiree is the most westerly island of the Inner Hebrides off the west coast of Scotland.
To the northwest are the Outer Hebrides/Western Isles. Tiree is a flat and low lying island with only a few hills. The island is approximately 20 km long and 10 km at its widest part and is one of the sunniest places in the British Isles.
The term “Hawaii of the North” is used by some enthusiasts.
